“ I tried the boba milk tea which contains their special blended Island Black Tea and non-dairy creamer (I believe) at 30% sweet. I really enjoyed the drink, though at 30% sweet it was a tad too sweet for me, but this is just because of my tastebuds. The tea was at a good strength, could have been slightly stronger, but my best comparison is that it reminds me of Gong Cha. The tapioca pearls have a good firmness, yet chewy consistency. I didn't try their fruit tea, but was told that they use fresh fruit for all their fruit teas which is a plus. I feel like the aesthetic of this place is very posh and upscale. I went on a weekday where I was the only group and maybe the vibe will be different with more people, but I felt underdressed in my shorts and t-shirt. They also noticed they have sockets around the seating areas, so you could potentially do work here. It's definitely worth a try. ”

The tea flavors in every drink I've tried so far are really nice and of high quality. I got the aiyu jelly lemon tea and grapefruit tea, and both drinks are both refreshing and are the perfect balance of fruit and tea. The interior is also very nicely designed and spacious (whenever it is not crowded), and they also have wifi! If you need to get some work done at a boba shop, this is the one. ”

I wanted to try their matcha but unfortunately they ran out :( so if that's something you're trying to go for, i recommend going earlier in the day! “ I was slightly taken aback when I entered because the interior was so nice and clean. I didn't know what to expect or order, so the sign with the top 10 bestsellers was super helpful. I ended up getting the brûlée cheese cream latte 50% sweet and less ice with boba, and I got my boyfriend the Aiyu jelly lemon tea. I'm glad the employee advised me to get 50% sweetness because I don't like my milk teas too sweet and this was the perfect sweetness for me with the boba. I chose green tea as the base, and I liked how it was milky but the tea flavor still comes through. I didn't get to try the lemon tea, but my boyfriend gave it a 6.5/10. I'd say I liked my drink but didn't love it! I'm usually more of a fruit tea person, so I wish there was more variety available but if you're a milk tea person, I'd add this to the list to try! ”

“ Wanpo Tea Shop is basically tied for first with sunright tea studio for my favorite boba shop in the Houston area. It's quite a drive, being all the way in Katy Asia town, but it'll become my tradition to visit either one of those 2 boba shops whenever I visit my uncle over there. Last time I got a variety of drinks but I decided to go simple this time and got their Wanpo milk tea for the pure tea taste. It didn't disappoint because their tea flavor is so strong here. The milk tea actually tastes like tea, not just sugar and milk. If that is the kind of boba you are looking for then I highly recommend this place. I like their milk tea flavor more than the Ceylon highland black milk tea from tao tao tea. The only knock here would be the wait time but they are still relatively new ”

Upon entering, I was greeted by an unpleasant odor of sewage, which was certainly not what I expected from a boba shop. Despite this initial setback, I decided to give it a try and ordered my drink. I opted for a sugarcane lemonade, which was surprisingly delicious and refreshing. It's a rare treat to find sugar drink at a boba shop, so I was delighted with my choice. In addition to its delicious drinks, the shop itself offers a spacious and inviting atmosphere with plenty of tables, making it a great place to catch up with friends or study. ”
